P035C and P035D Planar Magnetics/Through-Hole

Through-hole packages P035C and P035D complement SMD packages P035A and P035B. All 035 size parts can be used in up to 150 Watt DC-DC converters. 13-pin P035D can deliver up to 45 amperes at a single output. 14-pin P035C package is designed mostly for multi-output converters with currents not exceeding 15 amperes. Converters can power a wide variety of applications from commercial telecom and computer to military and space systems where high quality, reliability, repeatability and superior thermal management are of the most importance. In addition to tough electrical specifications planar transformers and inductors based on 035 size packages have small footprints and low profiles, such as 0.250" to 0.350". They can operate without any air flow for cooling and, therefore, must be attached to a base plate / heatsink with controlled temperature. Some examples of P035C/D products are shown below. Transformers can be customized, and multi-winding coupled inductors are available.
